Pivot Point Enterprises Ensures Users Business Platform Doc&Do Safe From Heartbleed Bug

Pivot Point Enterprises have been able to confirm that any security issues in connection with the Heartbleed bug have been resolved and no evidence points to any breach.

Highlands Ranch, CO. – April 23, 2014 – Pivot Point Enterprises announced today that their business platform Doc&Do (iPhone app: docanddo and iPad app: docanddo tab) received security updates to remove any concerns about the security of the platform and of users’ sensitive information in connection with the Heartbleed bug.

The important security update was resolved last week on April 14, 2014. No user appears to have been affected by the Heartbleed bug.

We take security matters extremely seriously for our platform, so as soon as we learned about the Heartbleed bug and the OpenSSl issue, we immediately had our security team work on securing our platform”, commented Mikkel Pitzner, CEO of Pivot Point Enterprises and continued: We haven’t detected any signs of suspicious account activity, but we encourage people to update their unique password regardless.”

As part of Pivot Point Enterprises’ efforts to secure their site, they did the following:

  • applied the security patch to each server we have with Amazon Cloud
  • restarted 100% of services to remove likely edge cases
  • changed (rekeyed) our SSL certificates and revoked old ones
  • assessed impact on users and found no impact likely due to our internal encryption used and speed to resolve the issue

Again no evidence suggests any data was compromised, but as an added precaution, Pivot Point Enterprises strongly recommend all users protect themselves by changing their Doc&Do password. This is especially important if the user uses the same password across other websites.

Frank Curtin has been involved in the financial lives of others since he was 10 years old. Working with his father, a professional financial and tax consultant, Frank was doing tax returns at the early age of 12 and was involved with financial modeling of businesses since he was 17. Pivot Point Enterprises Wishes Everybody A Very Merry Christmas

We at Pivot Point Enterprises wish everybody a very Merry Christmas. We are still hard at work trying to keep as close to our plans for launch of what we believe will be the most exciting business platform the world has seen in a very, very long time.

Naturally, the holidays of the Christmas season will take us off work just a little bit, but then we will reconvene again in between Christmas and New Years.
